Unlocking the value of understanding for creating wealth

15 November 2024, 5:01 am

Unfortunately for most of us, we were not taught the fundamentals of money or finances whilst at school or university. What is the value of understanding?

Most of us learn the hard way through the school of hard knocks, which is not the easiest pathway to success.

Others might have taken the advice of a friend or family member and still got into trouble. Worse still we might have been taken for a ride by someone.

However, there is nothing about managing money that is hard to understand. You can learn the key concepts and win.

Book your FREE initial appointment today and our team can assist you on this journey to understanding the key concepts.

But why are we focused on the importance of understanding?

Have you ever tried to fix something or lost focus whilst in a classroom and felt bored or not interested in a topic. Ever got frustrated not knowing how to get a lawnmower working or just couldn’t work something out?

At the base of all these situations is the fact you haven’t mastered the knowledge of that task.

I guess if we had a health issue, we’d want a doctor who knew exactly what to do. A child with a broken leg and we’re right on top of the moment, making sure the doctor is someone who is competent and can fix it.

Whilst money isn’t like a health scare, it is still a topic with fundamental rules and concepts and words that we need to know.

The fact is when you understand the words and concepts then can actually apply that in a practical way, we CAN get things done and achieve our goals.

Understand money and finance, and you can manage it well so that you create wealth for yourself. Then you’ll unlock the value of understanding.

Some people like to convince you that finance is confusing. This statement is FALSE.

As a teaser, here are two words that many people don’t have the correct meaning for in relation to money. One of these words can often get an instant negative reaction, often on the basis that it is misunderstood.

If we mention the word – BUDGET – you might instantly think restriction, and giving something up.

But that isn’t the right definition.

A budget is a positive thing – It is the arranging of your funds using income and expenses to achieve a financial goal.

People often miss the important element about it being a tool to reach a goal. That is the value of understanding.

Another word – DISCRETIONARY – It means – where there is a choice involved. This concept is an important one in our Money Mastery Program.

You learn about these and other concepts when you become a client of Finwell Group.
